During project creation, you can provide an estimate of the total number of hours for the project. This estimate gives you a good indication of the project's progress.
However, for complex projects with multiple components, you can also add the project estimate in parts.
To enter this estimate, you change the status of the project to 'Preparation'.
All time registrations and costs that are added will thus be added as an estimate to the project. The advantage of this is that it does not affect your hours and amounts in progress, but still provides an overview of a certain part of the project that is being taken up.
